Sisterhood

Our Sisterhood members are wonderful women devoted to supporting our synagogue.

We are here to offer a warm welcome to all who step through our doors. Our mission is a tireless one. Through fund raising and fun events we donate our time, energy, and resources for the success of Temple Israel and our extended family.

Our important functions & programs include:

• New Year Honey Program - For just $10 send a jar of honey with a New Year's card to your friends and loved ones.
• New Years Greetings Booklet.
• Purim M'shloach Manot.
• Columbus Day Fun Day.
• Spring Luncheon (helping to support our Men's Club Torah restoration project). 
• Educational Programs such as "How to Protect Yourself Against Identity Theft."
• Movie Nights.
• Comedy Night.
• Purim Carnival cosponsored with the Hebrew School & Men's Club.
• Sisterhood/Hebrew School Chanukah Party.
• Sukkah decorating.
• Sisterhood "52 Club" Join the club for just $52, and become eligible to win prizes throughout the year and to attend the "52 Club" luncheon.
• Sisterhood Cookbook (onsale in the Temple office).
• Monthly Book Club.
